I can't believe I left my journal at home. And now I'm in the mood to actually write in it. I guess I am going to write in the blog now. I'm really missing the Nightingales. They were such an encouragement the first round. Praying, studying Job together, singing about God's mercies being new every morning. And helping me know how to navigate this hospital & hospitalization. And the 2nd round, it was a blessing to be around to help through their "stuff". I felt so helpless. But learned that I didn't have to be strong, just willing.... willing to just be a heart that will listen, a heart that will cry along with... And now they are not here & we are sad because they have become good friends & help the stay here not be so full of cancer, but full of prayer & encouragement.
